[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at the Paradise Wildlife park,this chap was screeching away and i just caught him in time. They are beautiful,and i love the eyes.

The Bateleur occurs throughout the savanna and open woodland regions of Africa south of the Sahara from sea level up to about 14,000 feet (4,250 metres) or beyond, which places them high on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya. They breed at altitudes up to 7,000 feet (2130 metres).
In South Africa, the species once graced the skies of the Transkei, the Eastern Cape, the Karoo and the south Western Cape but sightings in these areas are no longer common.

Excelent sharpness in your close-up.
The 3/4 pose looks a bit strange with eagles, but it's ok. Lovely colours.

Hi Graham,
These Eagle's are funny when they are this young, very animated and vocal. A great portrait, excellent detail and colour. I agree with Mark, the movement in the lower beak is good, gives an idea of the screeching going on :-)
