It's a common bird here but I have never get a decent shot like yours.

Hi Alan, I like your Robin, it is very pretty. The red chest shows great textures.
Some days ago, when taking some fungi shots, I had one of this fellows flying very near me nervously, as if it did not like my presence. I thought it was strange, as far as I knew they dont protect nests in this season, but I can read in your note they are very territorial :)

Excellent composition, colour and detail of this robin in a wonderful pose. I like the arching lines of the branches that stress the lines in the pose of the bird. The birds gaze seems to be on the viewer and you captured that highlight. Perfect!
