Hover Fly

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is one of my first attempts with my new macro lens and am pleased with it. I set the lens to the close focus and meved in and out till it was sharp. Other people say use a tripod but by the time I have managed to set it up the subject has flown. Any suggestions gratefully received.
This is just one of many species of Hover fly that come to my garden. |

Hi John,
Very nice composition, sharp and detailed, however I recommend as you already mentioned a tripod, pictures will have better focus and with your macro lens and evt a converter, you can keep some distance so that you can capture your object before its flown,
Regards,
Paul
