[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After digging deep into my archives, I came across my old friend from Startops reservoir, The European Robin.
This is from February this year. I decided to post this shot as the weather has now changed, and I will be soon getting more nice winter shots with the Robin (Hopefully).

As this was taken back in Feb, I wasn't really sure of what I was doing, so this capture isn't brilliant. I did boost the colours in photoshop, crop it and sharpen it a touch.

There have been many shots of the European robin on TN, so I'm happy to leave these notes short and sweet...

Thanks for looking, have a great weekend.

Alan you bring me out of hibernation with this one. What a wonderful capture of the Robin, my favorite bird for sure. Great composition and frame. Excellent work.

Blimey, everyone seems to be digging images out of their archives today, and they're great! How can you all hold on to them for so long without posting. I look through my archives nearly everyweek and just find myself deleting more and more!!!
Anyway (breath..), she's lovely, I just love Robins, they're legs crack me up, how do they stand with such dainty legs!
Great comp and detail. You are right, if you'd taken this image today it would be so much better, but I would be more than happy posting this image.
Good work and thanks for posting.
Have a good weekend.

Rgs, Aleksander

Your cute birdy is just adorable I just wanna give it a big hug and then a nooky, then ruffle the dinkers out of it's cute feathers. This is very well captured with exceptional lighting. Well done Alan. Paul :)

Hey my little sweet orange friend, you are so lovely and Alan made a beautiful sharp shot of you. Your colours are so brilliant and you were posing so nice, I love you.
Give my greetings to Alan and tell him, he made a wonderful photo, bye

What do you mean the capture isn't brilliant? I beg to differ! Fabulous capture with wonderful sharpness, color and POV. I really don't see how it could be improved.

Hope you are recovering from your overbooked weekend, LOL!

Your friend from the land of too much tequila (I'll tell you about that privately, LOL!),

Alli

I really wanted to write at last something else than "sweet and perfect" and you're posting this shot ;)
There's no other way than repeat it once more. For me the photo is perfect, and it's impossible to say this birdy isn't sweet.
Maybe if you post a photo of toad or other creture of this kind I'll be able to write something different ;)

Have a great week my friend :)

I have just viewed all your images which have left me breathless! I continually bemoan the fact that I can't travel as much as some other folks, you have made me realise that thats not an excuse for not taking great photos. Thanks for that!
I love the way you use the same frame..might try that myself. Must add to my favourites.
