This grey squirrel came up to me while I was standing by my garden wall...It's not a good picture, bit out of focus etc, but the camera was on the wall when he arrived and I just pressed the remote shutter for a few shots. This is the only one worth that came out with a full image...since this was a cold February morning, it was surprising how fat and healthy he was until I caught him raiding the bird feeders........this shot is in RAW, but no pp has been done, neither has any cropping, it is "as shot" entirely.

ISO 100
Shutter speed 1/125
f/5.6

Hi Howard,

Looks like he caught you unawares and with a very narrow dof - interestingly you can see it on the wall; probably about 10cm. Pleased to see him looking so healthy annd well.

Mike

Hi Howard,
Wonderful shot of this Grey Squirrel and fantastic lighting effects. Very impressive colours on its fur and though the focus is a bit soft I like the glint on its eye. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hello Howard,
This squirrel like me needs to get out and exercise more, what a porker. Your image is very good although your depth of field could have improved with a different exposure. He sure is cute Howard was he looking for handouts?

Hej Howard,
This is a cute capture of, as you say, a rather fat Grey Squirrel. Nice lighting and fine catchlight in the eye in a pleasing composition and taken from a good low POV.

Tack för att du delar med dig denna fin bild.
Hälsningar,
Ivan

Hello Howard, well captured Squirrel, the light is good and the composition too. The focus would be better on the head instead of the body of the animal. Good work, thanks!

Mario
