Hi Howard. I think we end up looking for to much some times. This is a good picture of the Periwinkle . I woul be pleased to get this one. you have good rich colours and fine deatil. well done TFS.

A fine shot, the swirl of the petals seems to draw me into its centre. I like the lighting levels that you seem to achieve with your shots, are they taken at the same time of day? Whatever your secret it works for me.

One more wonderful addition for my blue theme...it is and always has been as far back as I remember my favorite colour. And if it is an evergreen it probably grows here as well..being the Evergreen State as we like to call ourselves...Good show Howard...Have you ever heard of the pigeons? has anyone?

The purplish-blue with a white-centre on the Periwinkle is so beautiful indeed!

This is a superb macro Howard!
The sharpness, POV and colours are excellent in this close-up of Greater Periwinkle flower, species that does not tolerate the Swedish climate at present. We only have the Lesser.

Hi Howard,this is one of the most difficult flower to take whit the perfect colours,i try many times but i never was satisfaited .Your work is impressive,the quality is very very perfect,i never try whit the flas but only whit the sunlight,you give me a new idea..eehhe..thanks for share and excuse me for my poor english,have a nice week end,LUCIANO
