[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I managed to get a good close up shot of this female blackbrd, whilst on holiday this year.

I was taking pictures of rabbits, a young robin and a male blackbird in the garden of the property where I was staying. I looked in the hedge, and saw this blackbird standing still. I moved up closer, and she didn't move. The she grabbed a fly that had come close to her, and started to move away and I started clicking away with my camera.

Managed to get a sequence of about 20 pictures before she became photo shy and flew away.

A lovely capture, Daniel! I would be interested to see what the male blackbird looks like. This one appears very thrush like in pose and anatomy. Our North American blackbirds look quite different -- they belong to the corvid family (crows and jays) and have many of the typical corvid characteristics.
