Freshwater Bay is on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. A few years ago there used to stand a huge stone arch that was destroyed in a storm. Overnight the landscape of the bay changed.
It is still one of my favourite places on the island and a place that you can never tire capturing on film or digitally. You get the most awesome waves crashing into the bay.
If you ever get a chance to visit the island, I recommend that you take the time to stop here. |

Hi Lisa,
A late welcome to TN. I hope you are enoying the site and will do so for a long time.
This is a wonderful moody photo with a touch of mistery by the fog. The FG with its rocks gives the photo a good feel of depth. The moment you captured is perfect, sinc the wave is a good leadline to the cliffs.
TFS,
Niek
P.S. don't forget to give critique!
Hi Lisa,
In deed a late welcome to TN.
You have a good POV here with this fine landscape of see and cliffs. The rocks in the FG is very good for composition and create depth. Picture as a bit of noise but it's still OK. Hope will see more pictures from you.
PC :)
Moody image, Lisa.
Maybe editing the far away cars:-)
Well done
TFS
