Oh Pekka, this is good. It is so hard for me to get good shots of these fast moving swallows and here you have six of them.

What a wonderful image with mother (in flight) feeding her babes. You shot it at just the right time - BRAVO!

Hi Pekka

Very nice image. The moment captured is very sublimly heartening. One point though, the depth is quite shallow. Well that can be guessed for a 550mm f-length. But the focus could be more on the centerstage where activity is going on rather than on the idle onlookers waiting for their turn. The focus could be managed upto the moving blur caused in wings & tails. Compositionally [TL] this is perfect but on TN we are interested in activity.

Well, I know this is all theory. Because a priory you do not know the direction from which maternal food supply shall appear [ref WS] & you do not have large DOF at that range.

What a wonderful, interesting, action shot!
The details, showing how the mother feeds her babes whilst still in flight are remarkable.
Superb pov with the waiting line of infants receding from you.

Terrific capture of these youg Swallows being fed. Lovely shot in the workshop too, the youngsters look really cute. Excellent DOF, sharpness and beautiful colours. Very well-timed and fine compositions too.

Wonderful family shot. Great timing to freeze the moment when the parent passes the seed to the offspring. I love the way the others are watching with eager anticipation for their turns. Excellent colors and details of all the birds - even the parent's wing is sharp and clear.
