the lapwing is a beautiful bird and is one of the first bird
we see up here in the spring, Sometimes it arrive to early.
Very fine low POV, well composed with a nice pose.
You did well in the weak light, fine exposure and details.

and framing, i love that you did not a big zoom on the bird
and you included all his reflexion on the water in the image,
i am writting that because some time on some images
i see that the bird is closer and the reflexion is cut,
i love much better like this with th bird a little bit from far
and with him we see all his reflexion on the water, TFS

It's not easy to take a photo of a Lapwing in this way. I've tried it several times, but they are very shy.
So I'm admiring this photo. Excellent POV and very beautiful colours. Great sharpness. Nice reflection and composition.

A wonderful capture of this Lapwing and its complete reflection. The low light did not prevent you from getting a great shot. Beautiful colors - I love the various shades of the wings. Fine details of the face and feathers - his crest is marvelous. Lovely setting and composition.

Very good close up with clear and fine quality details of this Lapwing. Lovely mixture of colours and patterns of the plumage. It is a really pretty bird, and I like the arrangement of autumn colours in the plumage around the face, and the swanky crest. The reflection in the water is stunning and rounds of this very special image. Thanks for sharing.

Another interesting bird. Again, I get to see a bird we don't get here in the central part of the US. Thanks for expanding my mind.

I love you detail your picture provides, especially the color of the feathers in the back. The reflection really sets the picture off.

Nice, clean shot of a very cute bird and its mirror reflection in the water at so fine scenery. Sharpness of the image is excellent despite the rather long exposure tine. You managed to reproduce every feather and reflect its colouration precisely. I also like fine framing of the scene and perfect composition of the picture. My best regards and TFS.
