[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot in Daisy Nook Country Park which is located in the river medlock valley inbetween Oldham and Aston-under-Lyne.

I liked the fact the trees are all growing sporadically, with some cut off halfway and others that had been damaged by the high winds we had recently.

I was also attracted to the lighting of the scene. The pool and grass are well lit but the trees aren't, giving the effect that the reflection is lighter than the trees themselves.

PP - Nikon Capture RAW to 16 bit TIFF, Photoshop Crop, Levels, Curves, Resize, USM, save as JPEG.
