[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was in my hide on a darkish, late November day when I noticed this strange (to me) bird on one of the branches. I managed to get just two photo's before it departed never to be seen again. When I looked it up in the book I discovered it was a Brambling. A specie I had not encountered before so I am happy to have a record shot of it. It is a lovely Sparrow size bird and I think it is a winter migrant.
Camera settings:- ISO 400, AV, Spot metering, IS on, Remote shutter cord, 400mm f2.8 IS lens.

It is indeed a lovely bird Peter, such pretty plumage and colour. I wonder if it is rare. Very nice shot, nice and sharp, great pose and pov. Well done.
