Good Morning Everyone,

I watched with growing amusement as this great tit picked over the peanuts, eventually settling on the largest which seemed for too big for the dimensions of its beak!

Great tits (parus major) are becoming more frequent in my garden and seem to be the most confident of the tits. Although usually seen swinging from the feeders, they will now exploit the free nuts which I place for the less agile of the birds; real opportunists.

nicely captured with the action on. the sharpness is lovely with the yellowish against the grey.
I like iyts expression in grasping the nit with the beak. Full of expression and you showed it very well.

Hi Beverley. A good close up of the Great Tit. You have taken this with a good low POV down at the same level as the bird. You have taken it with god detail and natural colours. I would have left a lttle more on the tail side if you had it. All the same fine picture. well done TFS.

Beautiful and humorous subject. Very good shot well framed, with beautiful colors and a pleasant contrast. With your permission, just a small point: the sharpness of the bird does not seem absolutely perfect.

That said, it is an attractive shot.
