Hello Beverley,
A fine shot from last summer. The composition with the natural framing Iris seed pod by the yellow petals of the flower nearest the camera is great and the BG provides good contrast.
Our summer so far has been cold, windy and wet with sunny spels providing lots of 'irises':))

Hi Beverley.
Amazingly composed and decorated image of a fine iris bud. It is true art work. May be image is underexposed quite a little bit and colours are not as bright as at Nature (I think). However, very and very impressive job. My compliments and kind regards.

Hi Beverley,
a very detailed and sharp presentation of the flower bud. i like the hairy things around the stalk as it gives a good idea of the flower.
the colours contrasts so well and its is good graphic shot.
