Hi Staale,
A very nice image of this inquisitive...and also somewhat hungry young fellow.I like how you have composed it by including the hand and its pose is really good.I think in this case having it centered is ok as you have included enough of its surroundings.I do think though that is a bit dark and lacking some contrast so I had a go at a workshop.

Another nice shot. Good control of the DOF so that the part with the hand and the squirrel is the only part in focus.

Très belle expression de l'écureuil...j'aime bien ses petites pattes courtes..
une netteté en plus sur le tronc de l'arbre aurait été interressante.
