Congrats clearing the 4000+ mark. You have been right there from the start setting the pace and helping others (myself included) with ID's. Besides being an excellent photographer I also consider you a friend and our resident entomologist.

Paul, Congratulations on the 4000th. It's significant because it demonstrates your love for photography. Hold on to it! You're gonna have to let me know how you like the 20D after you've used it for a while. I'm taking my time on this next camera purchase..oh yeah, your photo ;-). I like the composition alot. Hi Paul Calassic compo on this guy, and the beady eye is clear and bright. I like the overall impact and hope you continue on the feathered ones. I still have a few creepies, but next week - you need a break to consentrate on the birds. No distractions allowed.

You mention on your note the quality is not so great. I don't think so. To me, that's really ok, despite the cold weather.
