Karen, you've got your note and shot mixed up.
These aren't ducks, but very hairy geese!
Actually most people will have no ideer what they are. LOL ;-)

Hi Karen, you live in a great place in London, such a variety of wildlife in Richmond Park. This one is fabulous, how wonderful to see them bathing! You caught a lovely shot here, perfectly composed and well focused. Good light and colour. They look so relaxed.

Hello Karan,
strange ducks indeed ;-).
Wonderful capture actually I never seen deer so deep in the water before.
Great sharp details and nice composition including the wonderful surrounding scenery.

Hi Karen,
seems you might have gone a bit 'quackers'...sorry ;o) Lovely shot though, you have inspired me to get out early to the forest at the weekend...hope i have as much luck as you!
An unusual situation to see these deer in. Do you use any sort of cammo clothing or do you just wear green!?
cheers,
Paul

This really is an interesting behavior and you did great to capture it!
The place sure looks great and seems to make all the animals there feel as natural as they can! It also seems to be a splendid habitat for all sorts of other animals, too :)

Hi Karan,
I really had to laugh while reading your note. What a very funny story and what a great research you did. Great details and excellent control on exposure. I love how the one in the back raises her tail. I like the spy like effect of the grass in the FG.
TFS,
Niek
