[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the hatching area of the now closed Syon House butterlfy farm. It intirigued me to watch the long lines of these pupa as some struggled out and others were in a state of almost suspended animation.

I hope that when they awaken from their sleep that they are happy in their new home.

What a great lesson! It never occurred to me that these things happened in this fashion there. I was naive and thought they were dropped from the sky. Seriously if never came to mind. How interesting! Fine part of your syllabus!

I thought at first it was a row of seashells. Strange how nature manages patterns. I also learned something here. As for the picture, I wish I would have seen more details but it's kind of hard to give the whole view and at once details. TFS!

Hi Jai,
an entomologists dream you have here, amazing to see them all racked up like this. You had a great idea when you took this, you've got all the different stages of development right though to some dozy ones that have just emerged and getting ready to fly. Well seen that man.
