If you want evidence for global warming this might be it. I found a large group of goslings today several months earlier than I would expect. These are Egyptian Geese goslings. They are able to swim from birth. This little one was part of a clutch of 9.

I was shooting on F8 as I was taking the group but this little one suddenly started to run towards me so I had to take a picture of him.

PS In Quebec this year we have a lot of snow and many very cold days, a real winter! I think that this is encouraging :)

Hi Karan
This is very lovely picture
very naturel color and sharp detail
well done

From the look in its eye, it appears you have something it wants! An adorable capture - great focus, action, color and composition! Penny

Hello Karan
This is a lovely shot but I would question whether global warming is to blame?..the egyptian goose is not a true native of the uk and as such has its its own body clock..I think its best to judge on the warming issue when our resident birds in the wild start to hatch in january.

Unbelievable depth of field control here Karan...Sharp as a tack right where it should be..he looks bi-polar..while we know he is cute, he has a look on his face that almost looks precocious:-)

Hallo Karan
What a lovely and cute fluff ball you have photographed here. It looks as if it is running a marathon. The feathers of this gosling appear so fine and fluffy. I like the determined stare and the shine in the eye. A fine close-up with good focus and clear details. A lovely and colourful presentation. A very entertaining shot. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards

Hi Karan.
Fantastic shot and brilliant. Unusual reproduction of the little beauty. All is amazing: reproduction of the bird hair and grass, charming glance and impressive lights, wonderful colour palette and terrific 3D-effect. Bravo.
Alexei.

Hello Karan,
A cute little fluffy ehh...
But it is very well photographed; effective low point of view, superb natural light, appropriate depth of field and finally I also want to underscore the catch light in its eye.
Well done

Hi Karan,
extremely high cute factor here! Love his fluffy downy feathers and the eye contact - an opportunity well made the most of.
On a more serious side, seeing this Gosling in January does give me considerable concern and is a serious indicator of problems with our climate...alas, the madness continues unabated..

Hi Karan,
That is really early. I hope the weather will not change too much so that they are able to survive. You do have some magic with you. Deer fall asleep and now goslings start running at you. When are you going to share the magic? :)
its a really sharp photo and the expression you captured is superb.
TFS,
Niek
