Wow Deborah, what majesty here, it is a superb bird! How you captured its fiery side, it's almost a phoenix but coming out from water, not ashes. I am impressed by how you managed the dof here, so precise and exact. Everything is blurred but the bird in all its glory. Chapeau!

Hi Dewborah,
quelle beua POV, l'oiseau qui décole onle croirait retenu à l'eau par le poids de l'eau sur ses ailes, le reflet dans l'eau est aussi très beau.
Bravo

Hello Deborah
A lovely pose captured. It displays the beautiful plumage details well.
The markings are easily seen ,and the low POV is very well done.
Very good lighting and colours.
The reflections on the water are quite a nice accent to the shot.

Hi Debz,
This is excellent, great detail considering the low shutter speed, just a little movement in the head. Very good exposure, whites and shadows very well managed. It's nice to see a Grebe like this, most images show them semi-submerged. What I find a little strange is that the water looks blurred throughout, yet the bird is in the same focal plane and has detail. Can't explain that one!
Best regards,
Adrian
