[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Picture of a Robin taken a couple of months ago at the London Wetland Centre. Haven't had great weather recently and nothing much new to share apart from a few feral pigeons, so I thought I'd dip into the archive and have a go at applying a frame. Nothing fancy, but then I'm not that fancy a person. Hopefully better weather's on the way, but not in time for the weekend I fear.

Hi Mike,
wish i had this lying around in my archives! Really nice soft light and colour, great composition and a nice natural BG generated by the f/8. Looks like it could be snow at the weekend!
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Mike

Great shot of the Robin, nicely composed and I like the pose with the Robin giving you the once over, good detail, nice coloursd and I like the light falling on the Robins head.

Hil

Belle composizione e posa, molto buoni i dettagli nella parte in ombra, ma perde nitidezza per effetto della luce nella parte illuminata, molto belli i colori e BG. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Well then...that answers the age old question "Who framed Robin?...." but I digress early on. A fine shot Mr Mike. You are a guy with a camera! And your bio pic is one all should be able to do....

Hi Mike, very nice sharp shot of this Robin. He's in a bit of a shadow but you did a great job of pulling in the light for him. Exposure turned out great. Colour is good, with excellent sharp detail on the bird. I can almost feel those nails, biting into that wood. The composition on this slanted branch works well to fill the frame. Well done.

Thanks, John

Hi Mike,

Firstly, I think we've all dipped into the archives in times of inclement weather, we've certainly had a fair bit of that so far this spring! Secondly, lovely shot - simple, and made by the sun on the little guy's head. The frame is good, I don't like fancy frames either... A really nice capture. Looks like the focus point wasn't quite on the eye but that is so flipping difficult to get spot on and I'm being ultra-critical, it's a great shot Mike. Thanks, Doug

Hello Mike
Nice closed up image.Good POV and sharp image.I like the visual effect of the light on the head of your subject.
TFS Michel

An apt title,Mike, for the frame's brought out the Robin exceptionally well.
Thanks & regards,
