[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi,
I took this photo of a starling yesterday whilst I was camped out at the side of a lake photographing wildfowl. No prizes for guessing why this fella was by the water's edge. He has a beak full of tasty insects. Hope you like the photo. Shot at 300mm with Nikon D70, cropped and lightened slightly PP.
John.

Great shot John!
The pose of the bird is superb.
Composition and POV are perfect, colours very good.
I like the photo very much.
Well done!

Very good picture, John.
Great pose, very nice colours, well composed and good details.
Very well done.

Beautiful catch, John. Not easy to be there at the right moment and spot the action of this fast and tricky bird. Very good details and colors. Typical pose. A lively picture.

Hello John

What a great capture! He does have a mouthful of tasty treats..... but only if you are a bird! God point of view. Crisp clear sharp shot. Excellent DoF. Nice work. Thanks

Hi John, this is a lovely action shot. I suspect he was moving quite fast getting food for the youngsters so it can't have been easy to get. Feathers are a little soft in places (not that I can talk!) but it's a great pose and your composition and DOF are excellent. TFS and welcome to TN :)

A fine capture, John.
This is a slimmer version of the starlings that I am used to seeing, but quite well shown.
Excellent details, lighting, POV, pose, and breakfast, what more could you want?
Thank you for sharing him with us and welcome to TN!

Great starling shot John.
These things are everywhere.
We get huge flocks all over NZ too.
Keep up the good work.
Steve.
