Unique I am sure.. what a surprising shot. The agitation is palpable.. and well captured. and that water just spraying all over tells of the encounter as well.. Lighting is good.. and so is the sharpness where it counts. Thanks John that is a very nice shot.

A very good action shot, indeed. We usually see the romantic side of swans, and forget these big birds can be quite aggressive when upset. Except for the blown highlights on the left wing of the swan on the right and the right wing of the LH swan, perfectly exposed - correctly exposing bright white's is apparently a consistent problem with digital cameras. You might want to see if careful use of layers could help you save something there.

Great action shot!
Details are really good, the water droplets looks great and you even managed to frame it quite well.
The photo is really special and has great uproar mood.
I like it very much.
Well done!

You've done well to frame another great action shot here John.
A little more space in front of the swans would be ideal, but its still an excellent shot by any standards.
Brilliant clarity and very well timed.
Great stuff!

These swans can be quite vicious and nasty, especially these mute swans. You were quick off the mark too John. The water drops look great and so do teh birds. Well done, thank you
