Mute Swan. Cygnus olor.
Taken at a gravel pit around the corner in the summer when it was nice and warm. It's cold and misty here at the moment.
Hope you like the shot. It's always difficult keeping any perspective when shooting into water, but I hope you agree, i've managed to keep the swan intact. I think it helped as the water was quite shallow and the light as you can see was very strong. I love the way the light has picked out the gravel on the bed of the lagoon, making it a very warm shot.
Hope you like it.

very perfect image

A fascinating image. Totally unlike classic bird pictures. Very imaginative. I would have used cloning in Photoshop to remove the distracting various little white spots.
