Hi Beverley . Good to see you posting a picture hope you are ok. I fien close up of the Greylag goose they are such fine birds. you have captured this one with fine detail and colour. The pose is just how they stand. well done TFS.

Hallo Beverley
I think this is a beautiful photo of this Greylag Goose. It is a pity that the photo itself is rather small. It would have been lovely to see this beautiful bird in an enlarged form, but never the less it still remains a good-looking bird. I like the orange beak, orange paws and then also the orange circle around the eye. The piece of grass in its mouth is the cherry on the cake and adds the finishing touches to this image. I hear they say that gooses are very good watch dogs. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely weekend.

This though it may sound funny is a new bird to me!..I have truly never seen one before.
You have got really good eye contact and I love the scene with him on the bank..His head is level but his whole body is twisting.

What a cute goose and amazing picture. Great timing and wonderful curious pose of the bird. I like grass comer as a ground and grass as a food. This is a very nice image. Great eye contact, sharpness is right on the money, exposure spot on, and a nice composition to boot. I like the low POV - where you lying on the grass to capture this image? Well done!

Nice to see you back again and with a lovely capture of a Greylag. We have plenty of them here and I do like them as opposed to many farmers who dislike them eating their crops!
