Hi Beverley. I have only captured them when they are standing still . but they can move so fast as you say. You did well to get a clear shot of this bird.good colours and detail. well done TFS.

I am the neighbour of your neighbour today! and you know, the only place I have seen a pheasant is in a mediavel movie, on a plate with a lot of wine and meat ;-) I would looove to see a pheasant, they look like such beautiful birds and I wouldn't have doubted that they run so fast. The colours of the feathers are amazing and even though you say it ran fast, you managed to keep the details in the plumage. Very nice picture of an unknown bird to me, thank you Beverley,
