| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This way an attempt to photograph birds in flight. It was a wet and rainy day so light was poor.
I set the ISO at 200 for a little more speed. This shot was hand held at about 180mm on the zoom, taken from a bridge next to where these birds were feeding.
This is a Black headed gull, (Larus ridibundus)which is a common inland species in England. It regularly feeds, and in the summer breeds at flooded gravel pits, nature reserves and lakes. |

Great action shot, Phil. I like the POV on this one, and the details are sharp. Well done and TFS. : )
Very nice in flight, Phil.
Nice pose and colours. And good timing.
It seems little soft and the branches to the right is a bit disturbing.
Well done.
Hi Phil
Excellent action shot. Good exposure on both the black and white plumage. Crisp, clear, sharp details. Nice work. Thanks. :-)
