[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This will not be to every-ones taste as an image, but I believe it is a suitable subject for TN to look at and discuss.
Believe it or not it is another Southern Hawker male the same as yesterdays post I took other pictures so I could identify later, but not for posting her. I have no idea how it meet its end/death for when I found it when mowing the grass meadow at my mums house it was lying there headless. Its exoskeleton had been hollowed out by the ants, one of the images taken had one in view but was not good enough to post. It was as bare of flesh as a wildebeest eaten by the lions and hyaena's on the great plains of africa. so in its passing of life it has provided nutrition to many mouths.

A very nice photo, Robert, that differs in content from the vast majority around here. I hate to say this, but my main problem with TN is that it reminds me a little bit of school/text book illustration with their captions. This one doesn't and that is extremely refreshing. The question mark after your title is very philosophical indeed. In nature's big food chain there is no beginning and no end, is there?

Good documentary image that goes well with the note you wrote.

That's life, Very good one Robert,
The photo is very realistic, very good notew, good job

Very clear LP, Robert, and you feel the fresh green grass as what nature gives also takes it back.

A means to an end. This is a unique posting Robert. Very nicely done. Great definition on the dragon and those grass blades are super sharp.

We need these as well even though it is not as pleasent as the general postings. Life has gone a full circle for this being and it is something one cannot ignore. I'm glad you posted this as it makes the overall picure more complete.

Very odd, but interesting scene. It's an end alright and an end will soon befall them all. Shame, such a beautiful creature lives such a short time.

Very good capture showing the real life Robert. Well this one ended his life but by doing that he gave life to another species. I agree with Per - we give a lot of effort to show the critters in the most beautiful way - this one is a vvery refreshing capture and fit very well on this site. Thanks for taking the picture and sharing it.

I like the idea of this image and it's posture, sitting like an old air wrek rotting away. It has served its function and now other life goes on. I think your picture and note fit with that feeling well too
