Taken late in the evening on a visit to Wilford Claypit Nature Reserve at the back of the Apple Tree public house which makes a good parking spot to visit the site.It is an an old clay pit which has regenerated its self since it was abandoned and now has a collection of orchids ,butterflys and other wildlife even though it is now surrounded by houses, in fact it is so rich that it is classed as SSSI a (site of special scientific importance)
I was there with my local photographic group and a friend was showing me how to use flash wirelessly off camera. For this shot I had also added my Nikon 1.7 tele converter to my 105 macro, it is also hand held though I realise a tripod would of been steadier, but I liked the flexability of POV with hand holding.
Shot in Raw and converted in Rawshooter , cropped and sharpened in PS CS
Hope you like. |
