Hi,
very good photo, I can see even small hair on the leaf, very high technical quality. Do you use camera in a manual mode ??
Greetings

A very good capture.
Excellent composition, very sharp and great DoF.

Very good shot Paul. These are very common in our garden. There are a few European nettles in NZ,too. Later on I'll do a post on our deadly tree nettle which has killed hikers and hunting dogs.

You always manage to get in very close with your Olympus seems like an excellent camera for this work. Excellent Compo and fantastic detail. Nice one.

I have the same problem for the DOF bloked to F/8. But we can take good shots in spite of that. Isnt it? We do the best we can and that counts. Good work: picture and note. TFS.

Paul, This has a lateral POV that includes a great amount of leaf surface providing a sense of depth to the shot. It's one of those that make you feel like you're walking(OK, crawling!)right along with it!. I like it!

I have not even been able to find a single spider thus to be able to photograph... only I have a published image nothing else catching one ladybird.
From a suitable title your image calls the attention to me.
Position of animal, sharpness (and the maximum F8 that as much punishes to us sometimes), until the colorful one of his around.
At least I, can continue watching with pleasing... I do not know if the spider will be able make.

Happy birthday Faye (Faye's a scorpio like me, so watch out)! Gerhard is going to like this one! The sharpness and DOF is stunning in this shot.
Thanks for posting and don't eat too much cake.

Does Faye like spiders too? Give her Happy Birthday wishes from sunny SA. We had a temp of 36 degrees today.
Great shot Paul. I like the POV on this one. The details are sharp. Very nice... more?
