A very fine portrait and lovely pose of the starling.
It's well composed with a nice low POV.

It might be Mario in Quebec...not sure...who has a couple of these..and I always come back to the colours which are so very close to the colours of the US Army dress uniform..Very nicely done Joey. It was one of gods special birds methinks!

Hello Joe,

You have posted a very good shot of a starling.
They are not easy birds to photograph to make their lustrous colours show up, and their eye tends to get hidden somehow! I have several shots of them but cannot post them as they look blind!

Excellent sharpness and goo composition!

Wow Joe - this is stunning. Even in the dull weather you have caught some amazing colours and details in the feathers. The Canon 100-400 seems to work well for you.

You have captured the plumage of this bird very well despite the weather, Joe. I agree that this is the best feature of this bird.
Do I see sone noise, especially around the eye?
