Of course we will be the fortunate ones to enjoy your material and development and especially if you start with a great shot like this then it looks like we're in for a pleasant ride. Your brother has already established himself as a regular and appreciated member here on the site and if you follow suite I am sure you will quickly settle down and enjoy this site to its full potensial.

I like your blackbird lady. She shows wonderful sharp details and lovely colours. The composition is fine (maybe you could have left a little more breathing/viewing space in front fo the bird though) and the background (BG) is nicely out of focus (OOF).

Your camera work here is just superb...I really like the way that you have so carefully focussed on the eye and beak which are so sharp they display details that I havent seen before in a Female Blackbird.
You have got your approach just right...Sit quietly and nature will come to you!!
