Hi Joe,
Wonderful shot of this Red Kite in flight. Great timing to get its wings spread open and in a fine pose. Very neat and sharp image with nice colours and details. Superb lighting and against the blue sky it stands out perfectly. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.

Hi Joey

Very good shot of this beautiful bird. Great to see so much detail and colour on the underside as shots like this often come out silhouetted. I have made the journey up from Bournemouth to see them around the Chilterns a few times, but in the last couple of years they are being seen more an more around my local area. Hopefully they will soon become a common sight here too!

This in-flight capture is so good I can see the fierce expression in the eye of the Kite, Joe.
Other than that, all the other details on the nether part of a flying bird are brilliantly recorded.

Glad to see that Red Kites now fly to be photographed in Oxfordshire. A great close capture from a fine POV with great focusing on the eyes and fine overall sharpness. Excellent light management against a blue sky.

I dream of the day that I'll also be able to take a photo like this one. This is a great shot of a Red Kite in flight. I like the expression on its face. Very impressive scene. Nicely placed within the frame, with lovely colours and detail. I always admire the photographers that capture birds in flight so successfully. All evidence I have of birds in flight that I tried to capture is a piece of a wing or a leg or just nothing, or maybe just clear blue sky. Thanks for sharing.
