[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
these have more or less all died now, it is a shame that they have such a short lifespan, as they are one of the most beautiful of insects and i can easily waste a whole cards worth of images on one blue banded demoiselle.

f2.6 is reall pushing it..but the speed at 1/100 is about as far as you could go hand held
higher than 64 asa could have won you some extra dof at 11.9mm focal length
a difficult shot taken in the best way..
otherwise the crisp areas you did get would have been shaken.
cheers
geof

Hello Sue,

I like the composition very much! I love the pose of this demoiselle which seems to look at you.
Thanks for sharing,
Mariki

Hola Sue.
Buenos detalles y magníficos colores.
Pienso como tú en que es uno de los insectos más hermosos que existen.
Saludos y tfs, JL.

Hello Sue,
Difficult to take a sharp macro with such a low aperture but you made the best of it and the front half of this male banded demoiselle is sharp. I like the lighting and composition.
TFS and have a nice weekend,
Ivan
