Hola Horia,
Preciosos paisaje el que nos muestras, espero que no haga tanto calor en agosto, aunque parece que el clima está un poco "loco". Un cordial saludo

A very nice point of view. The angles of the rocks really add depth to the shot, and as for the hot weather, over here we're MUCH colder than usual, at this time of the year we're usually around 26-30 degrees celsius but were dealing more with 10-15 degrees, but I like it, it's the best weather to get out and do things!
Hey Horia,
nope it's the long ridge of rock sticking out of the water to left of the frame that gives this place it's name, after the Portugese Warships of old...apparantly they are similar in appearance...but anyway!
Great POV, extremely similar to a shot of mine from the same spot funnily enough! I remember waiting here for some time to get movement in the water. If only you'd come a month later...

Hallo Horia
Looking at this image of the coastal view I regret not visiting the beach more often. We stay about 20 minutes drive away from the beach, but have not been there for years. On the other hand I can just look at this image and imagine being there, because you present this one such perfect reality. This photo is just another beauty of a beach, lots of sun, turquoise water lapping the shore, waves breaking across the sand and plenty of rockformations. A nicely composed photo with refreshing and cool colours and details. – Just love the clear blue sky. This is just one of your many landscapes that I admire. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna
ps. Glad to hear that it is not only here where the temperatures go sky hi.

Hi Horia!
Another landscape picture I like very much, and it seems to be influenced by someone we all aprreciate here on TN...
:-)
The lines in the rocks of the foreground give the picture a great depth and perspective. This is very well seen. And as you know, I love that kind of skies and light! It creates an interesting duality: peaceful and dramatic atmosphere at the same time!
Kind regards
Markus

Pray! The end is Near...as is said on many a placard and such. Folks in the days used to carry the signs in my downtown Cleveland Ohio and I still see them today. The world is changing and we are paying attention too late. will your excellent seascapes be only a memory in image...will my wilderness be gone..from fire, feast famine or some such. After finding ice on Mars I would not be surprised if the Gaia Hypothesis came up once more...so if we look at you images and those f Paul in this arena...then we have a way to contemplate on the whole picture. Very well said and more than likely unintentional!:-)

Hello Horia
You have really exploited the folded strata to create framatic visul impact here. Great DOF and muted colours.

You know, you and Paul moan about the awful weather on that trip but it offered you some super-moody skies to play around with and has resulted in some very impressive, naturally saturated, magnificent shots from both of you! :-)
This for example is truly incredible!
The use of the lines in the rock to lead the eye into the photo is very clever.
Excellent clarity and sharpness.
Superb colours.
Again that sky adds a new dimension to the image :-)
Very well done as always!
Cheers mate,
Joe

Hello Horia,
Excellent view of this coastline along the peculiar pleated rock formation that leads your eye to the tall clilff at the far end.
Beautiful colours, clear details and a nicely balanced composition.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
PS Your heat wave is coming this way tomorrow!

Hi Horia,
I love the lines in this photo. They really draw the eye in toward the beach and cliffhead. The small movement in the water does add something extra to the photo. Details and exposure are spot on the the colors are very much to my liking. On a really small scale, I have to say that an POV slightly more angled toward the sea would have created more depth. Diagonal lines in a photo do wonders. But it certainly does not make the photo less beautiful.
TFS,
Niek
