Not much wrong with this one, Nick!
Superb sharpness, POV, pose, composition and BG all contribute to making this a great portrait of a male Great Tit. Oddly enough I haven't posted one of it yet, mainly because I am trying to achieve as good an image as this one.

This is a stunning capture of Mr Great Tit..You really have a style all of your own now...And its a great style...Stunning sharp captures of birds and insects and where the capture allows a fantastic background as shown here.
I also think Ivan summed this capture up very well!!

Sir Nick...your old standby has not lost any of its technical qualities...You seem to have it all down real pat. You and a few others have more knowledge and images of birds, than any combined professors I have seen here in my local town who work at the University..of course aviary is not one of the majors:-) Very nice Nick!

Hi Nick,
Excellent sharpness and clarity in the capture of this Great Tit..The focus is spot on and the catchlight in its eye looks fantastic.

The details and colour on the plumage is highlighted by the best use of light.The slight blur of the tails suggests the movement of the birdie. The white under the eye is perfectly exposed.
The perch is in a fine position in the composition and the muted Bg sets off the subject excellently.The olive green on the BG compliements the colours on titi's plumage very well.
