Six-spot Burnets (Zygaena filipendulae) feeding on Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis). These day-flying moths look like a sluggish bee in flight. Their beautiful colours are a warning to predators that they are full of foul tasting poisons. They can be found in areas of grassland across most of the UK. The caterpillars feed on Bird's-foot Trefoil (Lotus corniculatus).
