Well its the weekend and its like the middle of winter here in Southern England , Wet , Dull, Windy, not what you call a summers day. Once again i have had a look back on the hard disk and found this one .
I named the posting this because of the .

1, The Butterfly . ( Meadow Brown )

2, The Hover Fly

3, The tiny little fly.

Well i hope next week is a bit better as i have a few days off work and would like to get out and about to take some picture , but we canot change the weather.
Have a nice sunday to you all.

Hello Nicholas,
Ah the tiny little fly:-)
Seriously...I do like the overall lighting and brightness in this very colourful photo.
Especially the butterfly is razor sharp and very well photographed.

Aha,...and this one was taken 2 days BEFORE my B'Day...hence the thistle is still quite young...as opposed mine which has turn for the most part into down now and is seeding...thistle really plans ahead..

It appears as though you might have worked up this image...since I do a lot of PP work myself, I can usually tell...especially with a Canon image...Canon has some sort of signature of it's own and when altered even slightly it is obvious...or perhaps it is just my sensitivity...not that PP work is bad or I wouldn't be doing it...and PP work is pretty much what makes digital imaging so special! I actually enjoy doing workshops..at first having thought not...very nice and congrats again to Jai.

Hello Nick,

Haven't we always said, three makes for perfect composition: three insects, three flowers!
What a good set of images, including the flowers, all sharp and all detailed.
Nice composition, too, with the flowers on a diagonal.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
The weather is just the same here. It has been pouring down all day. Tomorrow is our Agricultual Show. It was a disaster last year due to the heavy rain. If the same happens this year, the show may not survive!

Hi Nick,

This is a very popular flower with the butterfly, the Hoverfly and the teeny tiny fly. Your timing was excellent to capture all three. Beautiful colors and fine details. The background sets them all off perfectly.

Hello Nicholas, great capture of these three different flying insects! Very sharp image and a well composed macro, thanks!

Mario

Hello Nicholas,
Very bautiful and sharp shot. Plant and insects have colours and details perfectly. However I would frame more tightly 4:3 (2:3)horizontally. It better looks back. I have screen 19 inches (average how majority) and I do not see whole painting but shove in plumb - line.

You do not anger probably.
I greet You warmly - Roma

Hi Nicholas,

The is a super composition with the flowers and 3 insects. Lucky you! I like the angle made by the flowers. Color, sharpness, and exposure look great. The subjects also stand out so well against that beautiful softly textured green background. It does look just a tad over-sharpened on my monitor.

Bonta Nicholas, parece una fotografía de familia. Lo que más me gusta es la planta , de gran belleza y bonitos colores. Buena composición del conjunto.

Hello Nick,
Looks like you are having what we call a typical Swedish summer!
But it was nice that the weather was good for Jai's wedding and that all went well.
Nice capture of three 'flies' on the thistle flower against a fine bokeh to make this a rather unusual but sharp and well taken image.
TFS this delight and for your kind words on my second TN anniversary.
Best wishes,
Ivan

Hello Nick,
I hope the weather soon improves! As mostly happens the westerly winds have brought your rains here today!
This is a nice and cheerful image with showing three insects together on a fine Thistle. I like the diagonal flowers and the colours are beautiful.

Hello Nicholas, Fanbtastic shot and superb colors and lighting. Great work. Ganesh

Nick, how lucky can you get, man? Wow, three subjects on the same flower!
Looks like you took all the time in the world to shoot this picture; the sharpness and rich colours say it all.
It took me some time to locate the third subject, but it is there alright. Best example of sharing and caring.
Thanks and regards.
