Hello Nick,
I see you have dug in your archives again, it's great to have a big one.
Your "blåmes" is very sharp with lots of details and the bird shows nice and natural colours.
About the BG. I'm not keen with black BG, especially when a flash is used but in this case I think it's natural so I accept it.
Well done.

Have a nice Weekend.
Best regards
Gert

Hello Nick,
I see that you didn't use flash for this one, though the almost black BG and the lighting on the Blue Tit suggest it. Even so, it shows up well in a great pose and with excellent sharpness to make it a fine portrait.
Thanks and enjoy your weekend,
Ivan

Hi Nick,
A superb photo! I like the black BG very much, even without the use of flash. The isolation from this BG is great. Excellent sharp details and a very nice pose and POV. Good composition. Great quality again!
TFS and regards,
Peter

Almost looks like you went out and bought a black velvet backdrop. I did it a few weeks ago and it works superior..although I admit to using it many years ago for portraits..Well seen Sir Nick!Clear, crisp and nature!
Bob

Hello Nick,
Unusual dark background which emphasises the natural colors on the Blue Tit and gives more character to this lovely bird. Very well done! Cheers,
Catherine

Hi Nicholas
Your Blue Tit is beautifully captured, the dark background brings out his colours so well. Excellent DOF and POV. Such a little cutie.

Sin palabras ... rozas la perfección en esta técnica de fotografiar a las aves. Como siempre te digo, cada dia es una sorpresa ver tu trabajo a pesar de que sean especies vistas ya en otras ocasiones. Enhorabuena Maestro (Master:-)
