generally, I like your landscape pictures very much and, of course, also this one. You exactly capture the scene and the mood - and this you do technically perfect. The composition is extremely well balanced by the well selected display window. Professional filter application and excellent light management provide a great depth.

P.S. Preferentially, I comment on insect pictures. I know that there are huge numbers of brillliant pictures in other categories - but that takes time to go through adequately.

I remember this from the one in the vertical format...and i think it looks better here :)
The wide angle view over this entire scene is outstading and there are tons of elements here to cath your eye.
The rocks in the FG are really great and those lichens on them make a very beautiful mosaic of colors an patterns which are really attractive.
The lonely tree is wonderful and the way it has grown shows the direction and power of the wing very well.
Of course the BG is equaly impeccable with that grand cliff and the warm sunset that gives an extra patch of color to the image.

This looks very familiar. I'll have to go find the other post to compare. This image is packed full of interesting things to look at. I like the foreground rocks framing the tree from one side and the curved bay framing it from the side. The morning sky and its reflection are super.
