Wonderful, just wonderful! I just love the look f Ireland as you have so many photogenic rocks! This picture is fantastic and well composed and of course the main subject is the tree ... still I feel the rocks play the most imposrtant role. Very well done & TFS! 8/10

Stephen, this shot is incredible in its powerful autumn beauty.

The lighting does all the work here, IMHO, enhancing and highlighting the textures, colors, shadows.

I can almost smell the air, with the scent of autumn leaves and musty earth, and hear the gentle rustling of the leaves in the breeze.

Or perhaps, that is from my recent drive to the country, where I did sense these things...

Is that a beech?
The tree really looks amazing. Colours, light, POV and framing are great. And as always you've captured not only a beautiful view, but also superb mood, sunny Autumn mood in this case.
I like it very much.

What a beautiful capture, Stephen. I always wondered what causes the colors of autumn. I like the light streaming through the trees.

I like this Stephen. Great elements within this shot for the eye to follow. The subject tree itself & its massive trunk. I found myself peering deep into the forest, center-left. Excellent color, great light & shadow mix. This filtered light, scattered across autumns leaves forest floor adds greatly. Another masterful capture. Very well done.
