I do believe winters in the Uk are becoming milder and Spring temperatures are I believe higher than they ever were. I have also noticed an increase in storms last year with the occasional twister of the Irish coast. So is the global climate really changing, well I definetaly think it is and possibly more than we all realize.

I read on the news :- A Europe-wide study has provided "conclusive proof" that the seasons are changing, with spring arriving earlier each year, researchers say. Scientists from 17 nations examined 125,000 studies involving 561 species.

Spring was beginning on average six to eight days earlier than it did 30 years ago, the researchers said.

BTW this image is of Carrick-a-Rede island on the beautiful Antrim coast. Do you remember this island from my post "Under the Rainbow".

Hi Steve

How great to see a new landscape of this area :)
Indeed spring is already here and indeed the weather of the whole world is changing drastically. It's bad that not everybody notices that...
Anyway, this is a splendid shot and it has a special meaning to me for it's taken with a lens i'm intending to buy.
The colors here are terrific and nicely saturated by the lovely light and the great usage of the CP.
The details everywhere are superb and the composition is outstanding.
I do feel that it lacks a very little bit of contrast in the distance, so hoping you don't mind i added a WS :)
[BTW, all your photos are so well post-processed that i once thought no one will ever give you any workshops ;)]
Great work, anyway!

Cheers, TFS and a Happy Easter :)
Horia

PS: after posting the workshop and comparing the images again, i realized that i might have gone just a wee too far...anyway :)

Hello Stephen,
Very nice, almost aerial perspective. Vivid spring colours. And thanks for that "alarming" note. In fact, that's very probable...
Best greetings,
Michal

Hi Stephen, I do hope that we will all realise what we are doing to our beautiful earth. I live in London and this year we have had the most horrible storms, bringing down many trees in Hyde Park. I also notice that even the light is different. A friend of mine says it is like Californian light - hazed.
Anyhow your photos are crystal clear and show the beauty of this part of the world. This one has a lovely POV with nice sharp focus and bright clean colours. Your shots are always refreshing.

Hi Stephen,
Great POV! This makes me queasy just looking at it. Such a unique perspective and sense of depth. Colors and detail are excellent.
Well done!

Hi Steve,
I surely remember this island. I can actually see the bridge. It is just amazing how high the cliffs are. The composition with the flower in the FG is really beautiful. It is interesting to see such green an fresh colors this early in the season. I did not expect it along the NW coast of Ireland. It must be a clear sign of the mild winter and maybe of global warming.
The exposure is perfect, where shadows and highlights are in perfect condition. I really like the combination of almost only two colors. (yellow and blue)
TFS,
Niek
