| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The common frog can be found in damp places and ponds. It can vary in colour from green to brown with darker patches. During the breeding season (spring) groups of male and female pairs can be seen and heard mating in ponds. They produce clumps of eggs, which later hatch into tadpoles. They hibernate in silt at the bottom of ponds and lakes.
My first shot on trek nature as i normally shoot landcapes so this is my first dedicated wildlife shot. I was taking some macro shots of bluebells when i nearly kneeled on this guy. he hopped once and then sat there while i snapped some close ups of him. I was pleased with the result.
thanks for looking

Welcome to Treknature!
Nice capture! The colors and composition are great! The back is a little fuzzy but I was looking at his eyes anyway. :)
Hope to see a lot more of your stuff! (Like those bluebell shots!)
