Tollymore Forest

This was taken on the Shimna River in Tollymore Forest park in Co.Down. The river runs along the foothills of the Mourne mountains and through Tollymore Forest and the forest park itself. This crossing point know as "the Stepping Stones" has existed for many years, I believe back to the time before the park was a park and still in private hands.

HI Stephen!
I really love the way you always get such great foreground lighting! It makes the whole picture look fantastic! This looks like a very peacful place to bee, and very beautifull in the autumn!

I just love this photograph, Stephen! It is the idyllic sort of place one remembers from childhood! Although calm and tranquil, you can imagine the sense of adventure it would invoke in a child!
Beautiful light, excellent composition, just a delight of colours and textures!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Steve

Another beauty from you and from the Tollymore Forest.
The atmosphere here is so beautiful and calm, especially having that perfect icy-srface of the water here that cretes this impeccable reflection. Again a very nice composition and some splendid fall colors throughout the entire frame.

I also took a look on your TE account and saw a picture taken in the same place as this one but with a small waterfall in the lower-right corner. I find that one to be simply brilliant and i have to sayi like it a little better than this one. Also, there are some other impressive shots there too...but those contain some old buildings that don't belong to TN. Anyway, i just wanted to congratulate you for all of them...you really were a busy man this sutumn, but it payed off!

BRAVO and TFS
Horia

PS: When is your site going to be done?

Hello Steve,
Wooow ! Great place very well captured !
The "+++" : superb composition, great reflection, POV, sharpness, nice atmophere, vivid colors, exposure...
The "-" : nothing...
Bravo my old friend and thanks for sharing,

Hello Stephen,
Moody image with autumn colours. Nice compo. I like these stones and apparently clear and shallow water in the foreground.
Great colourful reflections.
