[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Murlough is a lovely bay situated in a secluded part of the county Antrim Coast. It is reached by a steep, winding road and offers superb views of Fair Head, Rathlin island and on a clear day Scotland.

Murlough Bay is well known for its flora, fauna and geology - a curved limestone cliff protects one of the few remaining old 'natural' temperate woodlands in Ireland.

Breathtaking. I was writing about my own difficulty to capture a landscape, taking a picture with a wide angle is not easy. I guess that's why Ansel Adams was so famous. Your photo is absolutely beautiful. The rocks in the foreground really sit the composition firmly on the ground. Just to make it more perfect, the row of dark clouds at the top of the photo could be erased. I say that because I think it is worthed to perfect this picture, it is so beautiful. TFS!

Hi Stephen, well i for one would've liked to have seen more of those clouds skimming across the top! Looks like a very moody scene indeed. Composition wise, i wouldn't change a thing!
The way you have placed the tree against the bright patch in the sea is very well done, a clever bit of backlighting. The foreground is full of detail and texture and the change in height as the ground drops away towards that bay adds even more depth. Very well done indeed, another classic.

Impressive depth of field here Stephen.
Amazing detail both in the foreground rocks and the distant cliffs and clounds.
Great composition and colour as usual.
Very nicely captured.
Well done.

Hi Stephen,
this is great, I love the shot so much, this view, the colours, so fresh and clear.
I'm also happy to see your shot with that lens because I'm thinking about to buy it.
Excellent results, thanks and greetings

This is stunning and dramatic as usual. I can visualize an alternate crop... one that crops out the very high contrast bit of cloud at the top. It is the first thing my eye went to. The second thing I noticed was the gigantic rocks in the foreground. They would have been fine... except that I then noticed the exquisite tree and luminous water. Maybe an alternate presentation where that tree plays a larger role would be nice too.
