Stacks of Ballintoy

Much evidence of occupation by man from the neolithic period to the Iron Age has been found in this area particularly at the caves in the bay. All this is well described on the one-mile-long (2km) whitepark Bay Nature Trail.

Hello Stephen,
This is one beautiful low angle shot. Superb clarity in the fg. I like the details leading through the rocks to sea and sky.

Hello Stephen,
Stunning landscape and I love the vertical crop works very well here, excellent dof and detail, and the slowed water movement is spot on, perfect shot, all the best Cheers Rick :)

Where have you been? We've missed you. This is a nice sharp image Stephen. Everything works together so well to draw in the viewer. We are just funneled right out to sea. Nice work.

Hi Stephen,
a very beautiful and evocative shot, the different coloured stones in the FG are really nice and the long exposed water leads us right back the impressive looking sea stack. Amazng detail and clarity too - excellent work! as ever..

Hi Steve

Nice to see you posting again here, my friend!
A splendid shot with impressive contrast in the FG that really draws a lot of attention! I love the different textures on the rocks as well as the fluid motion of the waters and sand.
Very beautiful perspective and depth given by the excellent POV, spot-on exposure and lovely composition.

Bravo and TFS
Horia

PS: thanks for the nice words on my website's guestbook ;)

Hi stephen,
your POV makes it look mysterious. Also the long exposure makes the water look as if it will drag you away between the two rocks. This gives a terrific feeling in the composition.
Nice colors contrasts and details.
Well done and TFS

Once again you delivered a very strong composition through your wide angle, Stephen.
I like this one very much!
