Drama of the Sea

A similar composition to my "Earth-Fire-Water" post but this time there is a little more action in the sea. I particularly like how the casading water is backing onto the uncoming wave. Also there is more drama on the steep basalt cliff.

Hello Stephen, I am so impressed, I don't even know what to write. The landscape is breathtaking and I am not used to see PPed picture on TrekNature and, without a doubt, I like it. I'll be true, though, I would like to see that beautiful picture of yours without the filters but with the great light at the foreground. The movement of the wave is fantastic and the light on the stones superb. So much details too, the fury in this picture is phenomenal. Thank you!

Francine

Awesome photo! I like your use of lighting and slower shutter speed. I am new to photography, but I do know a good photo when I see one. Very impressive! Love your technique. Keep them coming.

Hi Stephen,

I have read the good news in the forum and like Karan said so perfectly:

** “It was only a matter of time!” **

I love your work and this particular one looks like an airbrush painting and your technique is a mystery to me :) Thanks you so much for sharing your wonders with us and congratulations!!!

Hallo Stephan
This is absolutely indescribable beautiful. A majestic, hypnotic piece of art. Unbelievable that something as stunning as this can come from a camera. I would give my front teeth to be able to take a photo like this. In fact in this case I'll give all my teeth. This is stunning. What an amazing capture of all the elements together. This is really something I would hang on my wall without a doubt. I really admire your photography. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards
Anna

Hi Steve,
Great to see you posting new photos again. I really missed the stunning photos from you on TN. Glad to see that I can visit your site and be taken away when ever I feel like.
The raw motion in the water combined with the wonderful colors made for a very stunning photo. I especially like the dip in the waves in the FG, they show your perfect timing.
TFS,
Niek
