Shamanic Visions - Ballintoy Harbour

Much evidence of occupation by man from the neolithic period to the Iron Age has been found in this area particularly at the caves in the bay. All this is well described on the one-mile-long (2km) whitepark Bay Nature Trail.

Wow... This is impressive! Composition, POV and exposure are very special. My eye is attired to six different points of interest which fit in perfect whole... Congratulations on an unique capture,
Claudine

This is a wonderful image in both colour, composition and depth. Your chosen POV really draws the eye into the image and the long exposure has rendered quite a msytical eerie feeling about the water. Awesome work!

Hi Steve,
OK, I really need to get that filter. I've seen some stunning results made with this lens by you and Paul. It allows for slow shutterspeed no matter how much light there is, and that is a nice idea.
I like the motion in the clouds and the total blurr of the water.
I can imagine that this is a trail and error filter since its hard to guess the right speed to use without burning the highlights too much.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Stephen,

Once again a great landscape, well composed and thought shot, thanks

Paul

Very attractive image, the blur in the water and clouds definitely gives a bit of mystical feel, so the title's certainly appropriate.

Hi Stephen

After being away for a while, I glad to return and discover you are still among the best ones in landscape. Still an Ultra-Wide angle fan, you have an excellent control on the compostion and depth. Always "un régal pour les yeux" to contemplate your collection.

Great work and TFS.
