Very nice usage of wide angel Dear Stephen. I like a lot the management of light and the usage of flash in the photo. Great POV. Excellent shot.

Agree :-)
When I saw thumbnail I thougt - o, new picture from Felipe :-) Great forest attempt Steven. Nice [and tasty] subjects, very good exposure and composition from fungi to sky. Interesting experiment - picture of fungi with 10mm lens :-)

Super composition Steve, the mushrooms stand out so well, and it is so good seeing all the BG too. Colours and textures look great too. TFS

Hi Stephen,
congrats for a beautiful picture. This is the perfect NATURE picture. This is how i feel like showing the subject in natural surroundings where it found. The forest and the atmosphere is very good and nice use of wide angle lens. Keep up the good work.

Hi Steve
This is quite a nice dedication...i think :))
The POV and composition are amazing here! Really beautifully done!
This bunch of mushrooms look great at the bottom of this big tree and the forest behind gives a very natural and lovely impression of the surroundings.
Excellent focus and DOF, too, but perhaps just a very bit too strong on the flash towards the upper part of the bunch of fungi...IMO.
Anyway, Bravo and TFS

Hi Stephen
Like the fungi in the foreground.
Have the same lens; can I ask you where and how(manually?) do you focus with this lens?

Hello Stephen,
I love the way you've captured these fungi, incorporating the autumnal background. Excellent focus but I think the flash has been too bright - the fungi look rather pale.

Hi Steve,
Excellent idea to use the UWA for this kind of photography as well. I've tried it once with a flower, but the BG wasn't as beautiful as yours. The falsh really helped to put the focus on them, but I do feel it is a tad too bright,
TFS,
Niek

Thanks so much, MF. I really appreciate your dedication.
As you know I would just love to have a wide angle lens to get this kind of shots, isn´t it beautiful?
Very nicely exposed, bringing out wonderful details of the fungi and a great and clear BG too. DOF is erally big!
You where very lucky I saw this one, I am very busy lately and dont come around very often. Next time send me a message to be sure I see it!!!
Thanks again, you made me more happy today.

Hi Stephen
Wow... this is awesome! The compositon is faultless. I love how the fungi draws the eye into this shot. As usual, a top quality result! Thank you!
Hello Stephen,
Nice dedice for the first mushroom hunter ;-) I think it is "Hypholoma fasciculare" (none edible species) in your beautiful composition. Are you more happy with the 400D ?
Cobgratulations my friend.
