Hi Stephen
A great posting – simplistic, fascinating, very artful, and with a great deal of visual impact. The time exposure created a beautiful effect for this seascape. The dark clouds and soft light rendered this shot with an almost monochromatic outcome.
A great composition and wonderful POV of this fabulous beach scene. The colours are rather interesting, the details are very sharp and carried well into the frame due to the large DOF gained at F/14, and the exposure was spot-on.
Very impressive work and TFS.

Thanks, Steven. Thatnks for puting yourself in the line of fire for us. The end result is beautiful. I love the trails left by the tides in the bottom left -- 3 seconds seems to be perfect to capture that with some detail, and not just fog. I'm enjoying what I think are your experiments with exposure time.

Well done again Stephen!
Exposure is nicely done and gives a good effect with the waves hitting the beach. For example, the first rock in the FG gives the impression of being surrounded by surface fog and you can notice the receding water making white blury stripes. Good balanced exposure throughout the picture. Nice overcast mood.

My husband would be throwing a hissy fit if I got near salt spray with my new camera and lens! Have you had any trouble with it? You seem to have mastered this foggy, "brewing cauldron" effect. It is very interesting.

Hello Steven!
I'm glad that you sacrificed your feet to make this photo :-) It is worth every effort. Very grim and wet, but beautifull. As always perfect DOF and composition. Long time changed sea into mist. Superb work!

Another slpendid work, Steve!
The exposure here is really great and the colors magnificent!
I like the effect of the waves from the beach in the FG - those straight but fluid lines are fantastic!
Very well framed and composed, too.

Once again a masterpiece of long exposure. Very successful shot in creating a steam-like water surface and excellent composition of those elegant rocks.

Hi Steve,
I think I've found the perfect combination to enjoy life. This stunning photo and the music of Coldplay. Just when I clicked your photo, the song Clocks came on, so I've listened to the entire song and looked at your photo. It felt good. The beauty of the scenery and the mellow music of Coldpay was a great combination. Fo that reason, I am adding it to my fav's.
The exposure of this photo is just awesome. The slow shutter speed created a superb mood to the scenery. Another great example on how to create a stong composition with just a few elements.
Thanks
